About myself:
I am an Early Childhood Educator who loves to work with young children and Special Education Students. We moved from Winter Springs, Florida, a suburb of Orlando, back to Southern California. Our new home is in Murrieta, CA. I am now so blessed to be a 1st grade teacher at Rancho Christian Community School, Temecula, CA. It is a wonderfully academic Christian School where the children have fun learning and growing-up in a positive environment. Small classrooms, lots of individual attention, great teachers, and wonderful children & families makes this one of the most enjoyable teaching experiences I have had.
In Florida I taught Kindergarten class at Bentley Elementary. Before that I taught a "blended" classroom at Winter Springs Elementary. My blended classroom was a wonderful mix of "special" children and children who just want to succeed and have fun in school. Prior to this, in San Diego my occupation was tutoring "special" students from all walks of life. I am a licensed Elementary/multiple subject teacher in California, Indiana, and Florida. I have taught several grades in the elementary classroom, been a substitute teacher, and was Director of a Lutheran preschool school in San Diego (Poway), California.
I am motivated by challenges and consider myself an advocate for all students who need just a little special help to succeed in their educational life. I am so proud of all my students who have found success in their education. I really feel that dedicated teachers, parents and good school administrations do make a difference in a student's success.
I have a wonderful family that consists of three young adults, two in graduate school in San Diego and one in the work force. My husband is a professional who owns his own consulting company.
